UW Oshkosh is currently looking for dedicated professionals to fill both temporary and continuous positions (Custodian $15.00 and Lead Custodian $16.50). The continuous positions come with an excellent benefit and leave package. Some requirements for the positions are as follows: 1. Ability to perform physical labor throughout work hours, including: heavy lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, stooping, twisting and other motions. 2. May be asked to work hours in excess of the normal shift and after hours call-ins, including occasional weekend and holiday hours. 3. Must have WI Driver’s License and be authorized by Risk Management to drive a University vehicle upon appointment. 4. Must pass a pre-work screen to ensure the ability to perform essential physical functions of the position. 5. Ability to read/understand chemical labels/signs and/or pictures. Positions are available on the following shifts: Monday-Friday, 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM Custodian Tuesday-Saturday, 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM Custodian Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM Lead positions currently provides weekend coverage for the University every 4th weekend.
