Description
BOSTON — With some Boston Public Schools students already back in the classroom, and more on the way, the district is making moves in its reopening plan, #BPSReady. The Boston City Council is holding a hearing to take a look at how that plan has been implemented so far, the impact the hybrid model has had so far on students and teachers, and how schools are limiting the spread of the coronavirus.
The public hearing—to be held Tuesday at 4 p.m. via a livestream—will give parents, teachers, students, staff, and anyone else who wishes to testify an opportunity to ask questions and give feedback.
"As a city, we have learned from the realities of community spread of COVID-19 in Boston during the fall, which led to many changes to the #BPSReady plan and many efforts to tackle the new challenges that arose in our school communities," the hearing notice reads.
