Meth Disguised As Adderall Circulating In New England: DEA

The New England Drug Enforcement Administration is warning residents in the area to be on the lookout for fake Adderall pills that are actually made with methamphetamine. The dangerous pills have been circulating in communities around New Hampshire and targeted to youths, according to the New England DEA. Local police departments in Massachusetts like Belmont and Westwood are working with the DEA to get the message out to youth and families and prevent fatal overdoses and addiction. Some signs of fake Adderall pills include pills not inside a prescription bottle, crumbling/powdery pills or smooth pills, officials said. The DEA said more meth is consumed through counterfeits like the fake Adderall pills than is being injected or smoked. The message the DEA is stressing is clear: If it's not a legal prescription, it's not work the risk. The DEA is informing us that fake Adderall made with Crystal Meth is popping up all over New England.
