LAKELAND, FL — A 41-year-old Lakeland man was killed after he got into a fight with a 72-year-old man on the evening of St. Patrick's Day, a police news release said. The victim and the 72-year-old man were fighting at the 7-Eleven, 2580 Kathleen Road, March 17, just before 5:50 p.m., investigators said. The 41-year-old man was taken to a local hospital where he died Thursday evening. No arrests have been made at this time, deputies said.
