Elwell Electric Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer looking to hire well-qualified, Electrical Journeymen and Apprentices. We are currently seeking experienced residential Journeyman & Apprentice Electricians. All Journeyman applicants must meet the following qualifications: The ideal Journeyman Electrician should have experience in the following; Residential Minimum of (5) years in the residential electrical trade. Hold a valid California Driver’s License. Must be a legal U.S. Citizen or be authorized to legally work in the U.S., and speak fluent English. Must have all hand tools required for the electrical trade. Working knowledge of electrical principles, codes and residential construction. The ability to read and interpret Architectural, Electrical, Plumbing and Mechanical plans. Must have good interaction skills with the ability to work as a team. All candidates must be in good physical shape and be able to lift up to 50lbs to perform the duties of this position. You must have a reliable vehicle and a clean driving record. All Apprentice Applicants must meet the following qualifications: Must have a minimum of (2) years’ experience. Hold a valid California Driver’s License. Must have reliable transportation. Must be a legal U.S. Citizen or be authorized to legally work in the U.S. and speak fluent English. Basic hand tools for the electrical trade. Must have good interaction skills with the ability to work as a team. All candidates must be in good physical shape and be able to lift up to 50lbs to perform the duties of this position. WAGES: This is a Full-Time Hourly Position. We offer competitive wages based on experience.
