General Laborer (Excavator) Santa Maria Labor Finders is currently hiring General Laborers with Excavating experience for openings in the Santa Barbara county and San Luis Obispo county area with a reputable company that provides general contracting needs for residents and businesses. The ideal candidates will possess at least 3 months of recent general labor experience and be physically able to perform job duties. MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION. Responsibilities of the General Laborer ● Digging up septic tanks to determine issues ● Septic pumping and maintenance ● Septic inspection ● Septic repair or complete septic system installation including leach fields and leach pits ● Site preparation: excavating and grading before the foundation is poured ● Conducting compaction tests and compaction with equipment ● Pouring foundation footers and stem wall ● Dirt relocation: building roads, grade roads, digging ponds and sewers, and trenches for utility lines ● Heavy Lifting . Requirements of the General Laborer ● At least 3 months of recent work experience ● Must have own reliable transportation. ● Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and be able to work outdoors in all types of weather. ● Must have valid forms of ID to prove eligibility to work in the US. ● Must be able to pass background screening and drug test.
