HOWARD COUNTY, MD — As of Monday, Howard County has a total of 16,822 positive new coronavirus cases, according to the Howard County Health Department, and 228 deaths. The state has 400,705 confirmed cases and 7,999 deaths total, reports the Maryland Department of Health. More than 36,855 people have been hospitalized to date.
