Job Description Greenland Homes, Inc is a locally owned residential home builder in the Des Moines, Iowa area. They've been building homes for over 10 years and continue to grow to every day! Greenland Homes is in search of a full- time Residential Builder Assistant. This person will assist the Superintendent to prioritize and perform specific site duties related to the home building process. This will be a position where you will be able to use your hands and be physically active daily. Duties include the following: Standing inspections Scheduling Mowing Watering sod Snow removal Operate small equipment/tools Driving between developments/cities to assist in managing job sites Qualifications: General knowledge of construction and how to use power/hand tools Experience driving and transporting small equipment Current/valid Drivers License Clean driving record Practice effective timeliness- be punctual Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Self-motivation Team oriented Ethical character Be able to take instruction with minimal follow up Excel in fast-paced environment with tight deadlines Benefits: Competitive pay Company vehicle Company fuel and credit card Company cell phone Employer paid insurance options available 401K Greenland Homes looks forward to hearing from you!
