80's cover band, also write originals

What's up everyone?! So I'll try to keep it short and if there's interest, we can message/talk further.. So, the last cover band I was in was in 1999. My brothers and I played mostly what was popular in rock and metal at the time.. After that, I was only writing originals in a couple original metal, grunge/stoner rock bands. Anyways... enough of that! I absolutely have been into listening to and learning 80's hair stuff! It's just hooky! What can I say?! Lol! I play guitar, mostly rhythm.. I was never really a shredder. If there's anyone out there who likes Ratt, Warrant, Steelheart, Great White, the list goes on and on, let's talk! Most of all have fun and write some of our own material. We're gonna need em all, drummer, bass, vocals and at least 2 guitars to pull off alot of the 80's stuff. Maybe I'm barking up the wrong tree.. Lol! It just isn't being done much and I think it would totally go over awesome! Because both the older generation and the new generation like the 80's hair metal!! My name is Jason. Hope to hear from ya!!
