mainly need a drummer, guitarist and a bassist are optional. i’m looking to form a black metal band with members that contribute to songwriting and are okay with only recording and rehearsing for recording. not looking to play shows since there’s not a scene anywhere around here, but i’m not opposed to it if there are other bands wanting to do something together. that being said, i’d love to try and bring something fresh to the genre and interpret black metal in our own way and make it our own. i’m not much of a gatekeeper of metal, but i do openly oppose just copying imagery, lyricism and music from other bands that did it better. my influences are namely Darkthrone, early Immortal, Gehenna, Mutiilation, Havohej, and a few others i can’t think of while writing this. i have a small drum set and a guitar and amp. i’ve released some music so far by myself and you can listen to it here: https://finaldescentmusic.bandcamp.com/album/eternal-farewells-to-an-ugly-bloodline https://finaldescentmusic.bandcamp.com/album/our-infernal-eventide
