Our next VUSD Board of Education Meeting will occur on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at 7 pm. Several items are on the agenda this week, including an update on the reopening of schools and a presentation on Mental Health & Wellness with a focus on parent and student engagement, staff professional development, and student connections to school. -Members of the public can view the public meeting via the TDCStudios YouTube page -The community may submit public comment in writing and/or make a request for live public comment via Zoom through the Ventura Unified School District website. If you want to make both a written and live public comment they must be two separate email requests. -Public comment and live public comment requests will be accepted for 24 hours, ending one hour before the start of the opening procedure of the meeting. For this meeting, that means you may begin submitting at 5 pm on Monday, March 22, 2021 and must have your comments submitted no later than 5 pm on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 -A written public comment will not be read or summarized but will be made a part of the minutes of the Board meeting. -Once a live public comment request is received, an email with a Zoom link will be provided with directions and the procedure to offer live public comment.
