Colorado State Patrol Issues Monday Commuter Warning

At least several inches of snow fell across most Front Range regions overnight and a winter weather advisory remains in effect until noon Monday for Denver's metro area and Boulder. The Colorado State Patrol issued a warning for Monday morning commuters. "Stay home Monday, if possible," the alert read. "If you must go out, take precautions in the event you become stranded. We recommend that you bring extra clothing, snow boots, or blankets in addition to some food and water. Also, to ensure you can get help on its way, carry a portable power bank or charger." In an emergency, you should call 911 from anywhere in the state, the agency said. "If you must drive, be cognizant of the changing conditions and take a slow, cautious approach," CSP said.
