Join the staff at Lake Conestee Nature Preserve for a volunteer litter pickup. Lake Conestee Nature Preserve needs your help with a little Spring cleaning! We would love to have some volunteers come out on April 3rd for a litter sweep. WHEN April 3rd, 9:00AM - 12:00PM WHERE 840 Mauldin Rd., Meet us at the large picnic shelter by the playground WHAT TO BRING Face mask, water, and snacks. If you have your own work gloves and/or trash grabbers please bring them. If you don't have your own we will supply them for you. SAFETY and COVID All work gloves and equipment provided by LCNP will be disinfected or unused. Face masks are required when physical distancing is not possible. We are limiting participation to 30 people to make it easier to physically distance yourself from those not in your party. We ask that you do not attend if you are experiencing a fever or any other sign of illness related to COVID. WEATHER All registered volunteers will be notified the day before the event if we decide to cancel due to severe weather.
