Irrigation Foreman/Division Lead The Irrigation Technician is responsible for monitoring and maintaining irrigation systems for commercial lawn care customers. Job Description: • Starts up/shuts down commercial irrigation systems at beginning/end of season • Locates and/or troubleshoots underground wiring • Repairs/replaces irrigation system components as requested • Follows a predetermined schedule in the order given. • Demonstrates competent operation and maintenance of assigned service equipment and vehicles. • Quickly responds to customer requests per performance standards. Qualifications: • Must have a positive attitude, patience and good follow-through skills. • A valid Class D Driver’s License. • Health card (or ability to obtain one). • Clean driving record. (no major offenses in the past 3 years). • Excellent knowledge of all types of irrigation systems and their components • Ability to read/understand irrigation plan/diagrams • Dependable transportation to work. • Reliable phone number we can reach you at (cell phone preferred). • Ability to communicate well in English (written and oral communication). • Always operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner. • Ability to lift and/or carry 50+ pounds frequently • You must be willing and able to walk or stand to a significant degree on rough terrain for long periods of time. • Ability to work long shifts (12+ hours) • Weekend/overtime availability is a must! (schedule is weather dependent.) • Must have good mechanical • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience! • Winter seasonal positions available as well. Hourly Pay Rate: $20-25/hourly
