TEMECULA, CA — A Murrieta man was arrested in connection with the murder of a woman who was found dead inside a car in Temecula earlier this week, sheriff's officials said Sunday. Cynthia Denise Ibarra-Cabrera, 30, of Murrieta was found dead on Thursday in a vehicle that had gone off the roadway and down a steep embankment near Camino Estribo and Pujol Street, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department. On Saturday, investigators arrested Edwin Cordova, 28, on suspicion of Ibarra-Cabrera's murder, sheriff's officials said. There was no word on the motive or circumstances surrounding the alleged murder, and the investigation was ongoing. —City News Service
