We are an urban, indoor mushroom farm based in South Austin and Buda. Our mission is to produce the highest quality, locally grown, culinary mushrooms for the Central Texas market. We look to expand people's pallets, build a more sustainable food system and advocate for a more vibrant planet. We believe in creating a fair, safe, team-oriented, and diversity loving team. While mushrooms are fun, delicious and fascinating. Growing them can be hard work. We clean (lots), build and sticker boxes (lots), pack and handle mushrooms (standing for hours on end), deal with dirty compost, and some of the time, after the work is done, watch the mushrooms grow. The work can be repetitive, but if done with joy and love in your heart, quite fulfilling and interesting. We also listen to music, talk about the world, life, and cooking mushrooms. We are looking for a team member that can vibe with all of the above. Roll their sleeves up, wash their hands, show up on time, have a positive and abundantly curious attitude. This person should also love cooking mushrooms (you'll take home a lot) and be interested in other fascets of the job, but mostly be okay with helping us lovingly pack retail packages for our customers (we'll be doing that a lot) and cleaning. Y hablamos Espanol! Nuestra misión es producir hongos culinarios de la más alta calidad, cultivados localmente, para el mercado central de Texas. Buscamos expandir los palés de las personas, construir un sistema alimentario más sostenible y defender un planeta más vibrante.
