The collection of residential yardwaste will resume the week of April 5 on your regular refuse collection day. Yardwaste should be placed in large paper yard bags, not plastic bags, or in special yardwaste carts for collection.
Branches less than 2 inches in diameter and 4 feet in length must be tied together in bundles weighing less than 45 pounds for collection with regular yardwaste. Twigs and small brush should be broken up and placed in yard bags or the yardwaste cart. Residents with larger branches or tree removals will need to contact a tree service company or landscaper for removal.
To purchase a yardwaste cart, please contact Groot at 800/244-1977.
The City will collect branches from parkway trees only. Please call the Public Works Service Center at 847/318-5240 with the address for collection of large parkway branches.
