Hello! I’ve played the guitar for 15+ years, and know almost every Blink 182 song by heart. I dabble around on a bass sometimes too—mainly for my own recordings. Oh, I’m 31 years old. I don’t mind traveling a little if need be. Some other bands I love: Say Anything, Angels and Airwaves, System of a Down/Serj Tankian, Tom Petty, Ozzy... really too many to think of. I am not trapped in any genre-box really. I like energetic singers with feeling and/or a message, and prominent guitar/bass. I’ve been wanting to get with other players and make things happen. My dream band getting started would be me, a drummer, and a bassist. A simple trio. I’d never limit it to that though! Anything could happen. I am not the best singer IMO, but I like to sing nonetheless. I probably wouldn’t want to be in a situation where someone expects me to simply play my guitar and support their show. I would like at least equal part in the fun! I loved Blink for their live banter, and would like to do that some day too. Aside from that I have some simple recording gear and some knowledge of laying down tracks that sound decent. I’ve got my dream guitar amp, mics, a small bass amp... Ultimately I’d want to work toward gigging and creating our own material down the road. I don’t expect anything to happen over-night. I’m pretty inexperienced playing with others, but I’m ready to cross that road and go after my/our dreams. :) I’m open to joining an existing band too. I would just want to rest assured that they let me get acclimated. I am confident I can learn almost anything, and I usually practice singing while I play. In fact I feel weird trying to sing without a guitar in my hands.
