SurfearNEGRA is a 501c3 organization focused on bringing cultural & gender diversity to the sport of surf; providing free surf instruction. During this introductory session  you will learn from professionals about water and ocean safety as well as the basics of surfing and enjoy beach yoga.     FAQs Are there Covid 19 precautions in place? Yes! Surfers will be separated in small groups of no more than 4 girls with a max of 20 girls total. Masks will be worn when appropriate. Social distancing will be enforced when possible. Sanitizer will be available for use throughout the event. Is there a cost to attend? No there is no cost to the participates  to participate  Are there minimum/ maximum age requirements to attend? Yes there is a minimum requirement of 7 years old and maximum of 18 years old. What should I bring into the event? Just bring yourself  a towel and a swimsuit. Everything thing else  will be provided.   Is this event only for girls? Yes! SurfearNEGRA is a 501c3 organization focused on bringing cultural & gender diversity to the sport of surf. We focus on diversifying the line up by teaching girls of color the sport of surfing.  Do I have to know how to swim or be a good swimmer? No in the introductory sessions you do not have to be a strong swimmer. Though comfort i n water and a willingness to try are required.   Will my hair get wet? There is a large possibility that you hair will get wet. You will be surfing at the beach. How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
