We are a guitarist and drummer in Santa Barbara seeking a local bassist. We play every week at the drummer's practice space downtown and have originals along the lines of Black Sabbath, Kyuss, and Sleep. You can check out some demos here (midi drums): mazuku.bandcamp.com We also have some newer songs without demos yet. Ideally you like the style and are willing to write your own bass lines. You don't have to be a pro, just have an ear for the music and be able to write/improvise in drop C and D standard tuning. If you're interested in vocals that spot is open too. We'd like to do some mix of existing songs, writing new stuff and jamming. We eventually want to gig and record an album or EP. Age-wise we are mid-20's and mid-40's so pretty flexible.
