PHILADELPHIA — After a SEPTA worker was attacked recently and the union representing SETPA workers called for more security for riders and workers, a reward is offered in connection with the attack.
The attack occurred last week on the Center City side of 15th Street Station, SEPTA said.
According to SEPTA, the victim was a SEPTA track worker who was leaving his shift when the group attacked him. He suffered a concussion.
Now, a $1,000 reward is being offered for information on the attackers, who appeared to be juveniles.
NBC10 reports SEPTA police are offering the reward for information leading to the arrest of four teens suspected in the attack.
SEPTA is urging anyone with information about these individuals to immediately call SEPTA Transit Police at 215-580-8111.
