MaineToday Media is hiring part-time and full-time Warehouse Distribution Assistants. Day and night shifts are available. We're looking for dependable team players who: Have a flexible schedule At least 18 years of age Able to lift up to 50 pounds Stand for long periods of time Responsibilities include: Packaging newspaper products Material handling Properly feed insert hopper Inserting pages into the newspapers Other tasks as needed within the department. Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position. This is a physically demanding job requiring lengthy time standing, bending, stretching, lifting pushing and climbing. Should be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally, up to 100 pounds in a team lift situation, and 25-50 lbs. regularly.
