We ask questions, we propose and embrace change, and we are aligned in the direction in which we charge ahead.  The Role Digifabshop CNC Operators are skilled with computers, experienced in machining, interested in materials, and acutely in-tune with the machines they operate. As crucial members of the CNC Team, the Operators initiate essentially every fabrication project that goes through the shop. Responsible for setup, operation, and routine maintenance of several Digifabshop CNC machines, we encourage cross training and agility across the Digifabshop CNC department. Essential Functions & Responsibilities Experience operating CNC machinery in a custom or production work environment. Experience programming or generating toolpaths. Experience with CAD/CAD programs. Comprehensive knowledge of materials and tolerances. Ability to move work pieces onto and off of work tables either manually or with vacuum lift. Able to work with limited guidance when necessary. Works well with a team and follows direction. Proactively seeks continuous improvement and professional development. Perform other related duties as required.
