Call or text: 207-380-5002 Full time & year-round position for a skilled & versatile mechanic working for a reputable company with 30 plus years in the local industry. This is a working supervisor position. The right candidate will work into a position with at least one ‘helper’ to support their task of maintaining our growing fleet. Responsibilities: Heavy & light duty equipment maintenance/diagnostics/repair; Routine & yearly maintenance; Parts inventory & ordering; Prioritizing projects with management & delegating to shop employees; Overseeing all mechanical projects within our shop; Our Fleet includes Light/Medium/Heavy Gas & Diesel Trucks, Plow Equipment, Construction Equipment, Farm Equipment and Small Engines Requirements: 5 years minimum diagnosing & repairing; Tools; State Inspection License, or ability to obtain; Clean and Valid Drivers' License; Welding & Fabricating Experience Preferred; CDL Preferred Heated shop, 401k w/ 3% match, health insurance, paid time off, competitive pay. This is the perfect job for someone who wants to take on some challenging projects, from Lawn Mowers to Excavators and wants to get away from doing oil changes all day... everyday. This is a full-time and year-round position with a minimum of 40 hours a week. Overtime is available all year and necessary much of the time. Pay is hourly wage & anything above 40 hours is paid at time-and-a-half.
