Le Joli Jardin 1282 Chase Road Veazie Maine Corporate Extension Master Gardner; Garden includes Flowers and Vegetables Looking for Garden Maintenance person 20-30 hrs a week M-F flexible hours $12- per hour; depending on experience There is lots to do at this newly developed flower garden that serves farmers markets, flower workshops and local CSA members. Our 1.5 acres has several new beds to be developed from tiling to planting cover crops.  Many existing beds of flowers and vegetables that need to be planted, harvested and stored for processing.  You will wear many hats and be an active part of the daily development of our growing farm including the new build of a heat sink greenhouse, water feature, new beds, flower garden design and closing up the garden chores for winter.  This is a great place for someone who is looking for hands-on learning experience of building a farming business from the early stages of growth.  Job opportunities will be available spring,summer and fall of 2020. Daily responsibilities would include: Planting Weeding Dead heading Harvesting Fertilizing Watering Landscaping Mowing Creating new beds Designing flower beds Expanding irrigation system Building heat sink greenhouse Cleaning and organizing And more..... Position: Garden Helper Positions: 2-3 Hours;  flexible; a few hours in the morning or afternoon up to 10-20 hrs per week Days: very flexible: weekdays, weekend, short-term, long-term Pay $14 per hour, contract; no insurance Experience: Looking for someone who is Responsible Motivated  Can follow directions Physically capable to move rock, weeds, dirt etc...
