EAGAN, MN— Hy-Vee in Eagan is planning a permanent drive-thru grocery pick-up area in its parking lot, The Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal reported.
This idea was proposed with the assumption that people would continue ordering groceries online after the pandemic ends, Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal reported.
Hy-Vee is planning to convert 37 parking spaces into a small building to be used for grocery pick-up, which would allow 18 vehicles to wait in the drive-thru, Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal reported.
