ALCO Sales is a medical equipment and parts distributor assisting the healthcare industry across the US and Canada for over 65 years. We are currently seeking an individual to diagnosis and repair medical equipment such as electric beds, stretchers, wheelchairs, etc., within the Chicagoland area. Training is provided but a good mechanical background is needed. Duties: · Diagnosing technical problems and determining proper solutions · Produce timely and detailed service reports · Document processes · Follow all company’s procedures and protocols · Build positive relationships with customers · Works as part of a team within the shop to meet customer needs. This includes assisting other technicians in the shop as appropriate. Is respectful of teammates and customers and communicates with them in a professional manner · Maintains a clean work area and follows all safety practices of the organization. Also helps to maintain company vehicles, inventory and tools in proper working condition. Qualifications: · A strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills · Experience with basic hand and power tools · Physically able to meet requirements of the job which may include, pushing/lifting heavy equipment, standing for long periods of time and bending down frequently · Good verbal and written communication skills · Basic computer knowledge · High school diploma or GED equivalent · Valid driver’s license required as well as a clean driving record Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour Email resume to: [email protected]
