Description

These rat pups have the rex (soft curly hair) and double rex (hairless) genes. Some are albino (red eyes/white fur) and the others are albino carriers and some are hairless albino (pink skin hairless/red eyes). The single rex rats have long soft fur and curly whiskers. All of these pups in fact have curly whiskers due to the rex gene. When both rex genes from each parent are visible the pup will be hairless, these are the double rexes. On occasion, some pups are born with patchy fur, presenting traits of both the rex and double rex.
