Joe Roper's Surfboard Repair has 2 immediate positions available in our retail/customer service department. We are looking for a self starter(s) that is easily trainable with an eagerness to work with and around surfboards and the surfing culture. We are the largest repair shop on the west coast. This person must be disciplined, interact well with people, have a desire to learn and a curious nature. Attention to detail as you will be estimating surfboard repairs, sell surf gear (retail) be responsible for quality control of finished surfboards as they are picked up by our customers and maintaining a clean, well organized business front. Surfing and surfboard building knowledge and experience is a plus. Must have basic computer skills and some experience with POS/credit card transactions (we can train). THIS IS NOT A DESK JOB- you will be working throughout the factory in different areas in an industrial environment. This is a full time position 32-40 hours/week. Great entry level job in the surfing industry for the right individual.
