Joe Roper's Surfboard Repair has 2 immediate openings for individual(s) laminating and or hand and machine sanding production experience in the fiberglass/boating/shipyard/surfboard repair and manufacturing industry. *Will cross train from other industries- Boat Repair, finished carpenter, etc. These positions are available immediately, 32-40 hours per week with full training provided. Once you are up to speed there is flexibility with shifts (day/evening). Pay aligned to experience and performance. Range is $15.00 to $25/hr. QUALIFICATIONS and REQUIREMENTS 2 Years min sanding experience- both hand and machine sanding Experience with fiberglass composites Boat, Fiberglass and/or Surfboard repair and manufacturing • Ability to work in production environment- both individually with minimal supervision and as a team player at times • Takes pride in the quality of work. • Experienced finish sanding is highly desirable. • Experienced working in any type of production manufacturing setting is a plus. • Candidate must be reliable and driven to succeed in a team environment.
