. Janelle will lead participants through the practice of making herbally scented hair teas for rebalancing the scalp, moisturizing the hair and adding a fresh scent. Herbs infused into oil will make up our fall salve, smoothed with beeswax and shea to protect the skin for the coming wind and the cold. Participants will make a salve to take home. Janelle Rollins is the founder of the Deeply Rooted herbal line. She has always had herbs in her life and a small garden. She remembers her Nana telling her to go pick mint for stomach aches and sun tea. Mint was her first love. Her own skin issues brought her back to herbs as an adult and she started a practice of testing herbal teas on her skin and eventually oils and butters that lead to the skincare line she makes and uses now.
