BUTLER DOWNTOWN SPRING CLEANUP - THANK YOU COMMUNITY HEROES! Are you interested in helping make a visible difference by helping clean up our community? Join the Butler Downtown by coming out and helping us cleanup the downtown corridor. Volunteer help is both needed and greatly appreciated! We will meet at the Downtown Bagel House located @ 143 N. Main St FREE bagels, coffee and trash bags will be provided. DATE: Saturday April 24, 2021 TIME: 8:00 AM – NOON LOCATION: Downtown Bagel House 143 N. Main St Butler, PA 16001 RESCHEDULING DUE TO RAIN / INCLEMENT WEATHER: In the event of rain or inclement weather the event will be rescheduled to the following day - Sunday April 25, 2021 from 8:00 am - Noon. VOLUNTEER NOTES: Please bring your own gloves and tools (a flathead screwdriver really helps get in the sidewalk cracks). Emphasis will be on cleaning up trash, sweeping, and pulling weeds. We will have a map of the city on hand and plan to pair up in small groups of 2-4. Each group can either choose a block or be assigned to one. The plan is to finish by Noon.
