Drawing & Painting lessons - all skill levels

I am offering drawing and painting lessons. This includes mediums for Drawing: pencil, charcoal, pen and ink, colored pencils. And for Painting: acrylics, oils, watercolors. I can also work with you in mixed media and collage. Are you dipping your toe in? Are you a novice, but have a particular interest in a medium or subject matter - landscape, still life, portraiture, illustration, etc? Are you homeschooling or building a portfolio for competition/college entry/undergraduate thesis development? I can work with all skill levels and abilities. And all ages. I charge by the hour. Who am I? I am a visual artist and educator with a B.F.A. (1993) and M.F.A. in painting (1996). Since 1990, I have taught studio fine arts to children, teenagers and adults both privately and at the undergraduate and graduate levels. I have worked in the fields of print illustration, graphic design and newspaper advertising. I have worked as a visiting artist in JCPS schools and at mental & physical health facilities. I am currently excepting students. I can possibly do some in person lessons outside with the proper precautions and weather permitting. I can also do streaming. I do not provide supplies. I can help you find good materials locally as well as online that can fit your budget. The images with this posting are some student samples from my college drawing classes.
