Improvisational Jamming

We are a small group of musicians that are meeting at the moment in Balboa Park inside the courtyard of buildings (great acoustics) across from the the Jr. Theater, usually on Sun. afternoon. We were meeting at the Mission Brewery back room before Covid. The format is strictly improvisational. We make stuff up on the fly but were mostly looking for more chordal people at the moment. If you have some interesting chord progressions you want to lay down (yours or covers), others can create melodies, solo over them or visa a versa. We can cross over into different genres (anything goes) but we try to keep it within a melodic format. You don't have to be a pro but probably not a beginner either, the basics, play in time, key, groove etc. If you have some small battery powered amps for guitar, bass or keyboard, that's cool too. This is all for fun, sharing and community; respectful vibe. We also have a studio to jam in when everyone is comfortable with indoor spaces.
