Description

Looking for a general handyman who can build a van interior for Van Living. I have a Ford E250 cargo van that I need to be built to live in. This will be the bare minimum. The images posted are only ideas for the layout. We would have to meet face-to-face to plan together on the actual layout. I’m on a tight budget but have a small chunk of money to start buying materials, electrical, and accessories. In the meantime, I will have a weekly amount I currently earn to put towards the build. I would need someone to work on this when they have time, but at least 6 hours a day and to have it finished within 42 working hours. If you work daily, that’s 7 consecutive days. I know that sounds like it's too fast, but honestly, I am only looking for a basic build; enough for me to live in the van comfortably as I add to it over time. I already have some materials, and whatever other materials I need, I will purchase myself. You will need your own tools, or I could rent them from Home Depot. All the work will be done at my current residence. What I need: Basic electrical to run the following: Refrigerator Charging cell phone and tablet while sleeping Possibly a C-PAP/BI-PAP machine for sleeping (I currently am not using mine, but I’m “supposed to”. Meh.  About a max of 5 hours laptop daily Lighting when needed Recharging USB items like humidifier when needed, camper’s shower pump, my Bluetooth speaker, my tazor, my toothbrush, my tablet, etc. Recharging 1 to 2 campers’ charging banks/lanterns with ac/dc outlets. I have one already; pictured among posted images. The electrical system (will need your expert input in comparison to my research for the best option that I can afford): - onboard house battery for power needs (AGM) - hopefully, 12 volt-only, may need for 110volt (regular house voltage) - battery will charge off the van when it's running, automatically disconnect when the van is turned off to avoid draining start battery – with solar hook up (I’m getting a portable/collapsible solar panel. Would there be an additional part to acquire the automatic shutoff, such as a switch?) 2-4 lights inside 1-3 charging ports for phones/accessories Fuse panel to allow additional 12volt devices to be easily added in the future I have a design in mind for a custom, removable bed. I have a desk and a small portable butcher block to be secured in place. I have several baskets, totes, and suitcases to size up and arrange for the layout of the build. I will not have plumbing. I will be getting a 12v minifridge or electrical cooler or a 110v minifridge depending on the capacity of the battery. I’m very limited on my budget, but we can negotiate.
