Former FX5 band member/engineer looking for a working band... or soon to be. 40+ years experience in the biz. The more casual the better and money is not the motivation. Just getting out to do a gig or two a month would be grand. I know a ton of the standard (m/f) cover tunes and will not require much rehearsal. I do my homework and always come prepared. I have a standard male range so if you are looking for someone to sing Journey tunes I ain't your guy :) I can hold a harmony fairly well and can double on bass in a 3 piece situation. Family man.. good transpo.. good gear.. good tone.. light drinker only. I'm familiar with the Behringer X series mixers.. been running one for the last 3.5 years. I can mix a band without a soundcheck with proper at home preparation. I can time in delays and know when and when not to use effects. My engineering fee is based on time and travel. While I can assist in placement of mains and wedges etc.. I will not lift or move your gear due to a health issue. I do not own a PA.. I would need to use either your mixer or tap my XR18 mixer into your amps/speakers, the later is my preference as it's been years since I've driven a regular desk. I have tablets I can use in small club situations if seating in not available to use my laptop to mix. Let me know what your needs are and rock on Sandy Eggo!
