Blessing Bags for the Homeless

California's Economic Roundtable estimates an additional 604,000 people could be added to our nation's homeless population over the next two years. Laguna Beach United Methodist Church, on Wesley Drive in South Laguna, is assembling Blessing Bags for the Homeless this week and will be giving these to those in the community who would like one. The idea is to keep a Blessing Bag with you in your car or on your walk and give to those in need. Blessing Bags are new Espero "Carry Hope" backpacks with warm socks and hats, personal hygiene items, bottled water and granola bars. Bags are available for pickup at LBUMC this Saturday, March 27th from 10:00am to noon.
