This position operates in an indoor environment however exposure to heat is to be expected in the summer months. Must be willing to follow all safety procedures, work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment as part of a team, be goal oriented and able to consistently meet quality and production requirements, possess a mechanical aptitude. This position functions in a manufacturing environment at a Goodyear Retread Plant where commercial truck tires are retreaded through a series of manual and automated processes including but not limited to: * Inspecting and buffing tire casings for retreading. * Applying rubber compounds to retread the tire. * Curing retreaded tires. * Quality control of finished product. * Any other duties requested by management. Execution of the manufacturing process includes: meeting the needs of the quality and process requirements for Goodyear, ensure tires return to origin within 7 day turn time, minor maintenance of Retread equipment, compliance with Safety and OSHA requirements. Certification in the Goodyear Retread process must be obtained. Certified associates will train new uncertified associates. Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Starting pay will depend on experience and attitude. Some overtime is to be expected. * Must pass pre-employment check and drug screening.
