__________Introduced by M. of A. FITZPATRICK -- read once and referred to the Committee on Transportation in relation to the limitation on certain highway expenses in the town of Smithtown, Suffolk county. The bill reads as follows: "THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Subparagraph 1-e of paragraph a of subdivision 3 of section 271 of the highway law, as added by chapter 500 of the laws of 1994, is amended to read as follows: (1-e) [Eight] ONE MILLION TWO hundred thousand dollars in the town of Smithtown in Suffolk county. § 2.
