compensation: Commission Based Piecework I am hiring a couple of grill and yard equipment assemblers for our hardware stores. I am looking for part time men and women who enjoy building things. The average assembler will make $16-$22 per hour on piecework, we get paid for each item we assemble. The fastest 10% of our assemblers make $25-$30/hr. We will provide you with paid on the job training for the first 40 hours. We work at each store at least once a week. Assemblers generally work at any of the 7-10 closest store locations from their homes. It usually takes about 6-8 hours to assemble everything that is needed for a store's weekly assembly appointment. We assemble all of their grills, wheelbarrows, patio furniture, tool boxes, carts, etc. Anything that comes in a box and requires assembly we assemble for them. All assembly takes place inside the stores. We do not deliver and assemble. The hours are generally between 7AM-6:00PM weekdays, but the hours you work can be somewhat flexible. We are looking for a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week but if work is available, I can use you for more. Some assemblers work 40 hours per week, OT is sometimes possible. We do not usually offer weekend only positions, but weekend work is sometimes available. You will need to train, Monday through Friday, during the day while my trainers are working. Requirements and details: Able to lift 50+ lbs, consistently throughout the workday. assemblers provide their own tools. Must have drivers license and reliable transportation. Must be able to pass drug screening, driving record check, and background check. Pay is based on piecework after paid on the job training. This is a W2 position. Payday is every 2 weeks via direct deposit, pay card or check. We are paid by the piece so the more we assemble the more we earn per day.
