We rescued Kitters from the streets of Fells Point during a storm. She has not been fixed or vaccinated by us. With no previous known owner, I had every intention of keeping her and actually got her shots/spay scheduled for April. However, this plan has to be cancelled due to the fact that my husband is deathly allergic to her. He grew up with animals so we didn't think twice about it; but since having Kitters, his eczema has worsened to the point that even with constant medication he has painful and itchy sores all over. Her hair is medium-long so I believe the cause might be the invisible dander. Even with constant cleaning, his symptoms don't alleviate. I need to find a home for Kitters right away as I love my poor husband and can't stand seeing him be in pain. I thought posting here and on other rehoming sites first would be better than dropping her off at the shelter. She is very sweet, kind to the dog, kind to the children, and is super snuggly. She is sweet and beautiful. I will miss her very much. She is all around a perfect pet! I have already paid the $25 deposit for her shots/spay on April 4th. I will keep the appointment and turn it over to your name, you just need to pay the remaining balance. It is scheduled with SPCA so it is a low-cost spaying.
