Description

Quincy Way of the Cross is back for 2021! Come and join us in prayer and safety! On Good Friday, April 2, 2021, we will again be carrying the cross through the city of Quincy, stopping at each of its seven Catholic churches where we will offer our intentions and pray two Stations of the Cross. Come join us on our prayerful journey. You are welcome to join us for the whole day or any part of it. Help us to show Quincy that the Way of the Cross is alive and well! This year, in the interest of safety and to observe state regulations, we are asking that each walker register for each leg of the walk they will be walking. We will be splitting into groups of no more than 12 during the walk itself, and we will be practicing social distancing (6 feet) as well as mask wearing, indoors and outdoors. We appreciate your cooperation in helping to make our walk possible even amidst challenges! • Participants must practice social distancing by remaining 6 feet away from others; • Face coverings are required; • Groups should be 12 or fewer participants, but there may be more than one group of 12 at one time, provided that adequate social distancing group separation of at least 14 feet can be maintained; • Any shared equipment between users must be sanitized. We hope to arrive at St. Mary's Church, 115 Crescent St. in Quincy, at approximately 10:45 a.m. We will pray two Stations of the Cross, and then walk to St. John's Church, 44 School St. in Quincy, where we will pray the next two Stations.
