I'm looking for a dog. Preferably one relatively on the young and trainable side as I am in need of a service dog and since I cannot afford 20-60k+ to get one already trained, I will be training he or she myself (I have an animal sciences associates degree and rehabilitated wildlife and fighter dogs once upon a time before my genetic disease took much of my life from me, as it is debilitating) and some of the hours a professional trainer will be training us together. I will need a large dog of a breed that is eager to please as well as one who loves to be close to their "person" as the dog will be used in service as seizure alert, fall break, and at times (when I go randomly totally blind) a seeing eye dog. I do at times use a wheelchair and until I gain a motorized (my arms love to dislocate at the shoulders as I wheel myself) one there is the potential I will need the dog to help me by pulling me along a bit. If anyone could help me out that would be great.
