Liberal/progressive/cannabis friendly acoustic folk rocker, looking for the same to work on a repertoire from the 60s folk rock scene, i.e. the Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, early Beatles, and more. Let's do classics like "Imagine" by Lennon and "Get Together" by the Youngbloods and sing the lyrics like we mean them. Of course we'll rock it up a bit too so the audience can shake a tail feather! We are currently seeking fully Covid - 19 vaccinated (or soon to be) keyboardist, bass player and lead guitarist to make some noise that is pleasing to the ears of our audience and has them begging for "just one more". Lead and/or background vocals a plus! And speaking of audience, obviously the live music scene is still fallow courtesy of Covid! but we're keeping our fingers crossed that it'll be safe by summer for venues to reopen. And speaking of venues, Justin is a good manager and knows how to get gigs with the right tools (a good video/demo). So let's put together an act that covers Tom Petty, CSN&Y, Dylan, Travelin Wilbury's, Sam Cooke, Everly Bros., and well, you get the picture. Simply reply with what you play, why you wanna play this repertoire and if you sing or not and if you do sing, what is your range (Justin is a tenor FYI). Rehearsal space is available. We are looking forward to hearing from all you old hippies and neo-hippies that have a passion for folk-rock, early R & B, etc. and are proficient at your instrument to put together an act in the next few months while things are still closed.
