Well hello there! Spring is approaching and this means that the Hillsdale Food Park is looking for a part-time maintenance helper. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, detail-oriented, caring, friendly, morning person. Previous restaurant experience is a DEFINITE plus! Here at HFP we try to maintain a familial feel. Just about everyone who operates within the park lives in the Hillsdale/Multnomah Village area. So as you can imagine, the community side of things is very important to us. We would LOVE to see applicants who live within a mile or two of the park, but it's not necessary! Currently seeking Saturday and Sunday help along with possible extra shifts throughout the week. This is a relaxed, outdoor job in a park-like setting. You should also feel comfortable around teens as our customers include many Wilson High School students. Duties include (but are not limited to): Wiping down tables, seats, garbage can lids, SaniCan / Sweeping debris from sidewalks & patios / Picking up trash / Maintaining garbages / Removing graffiti / Greeting community members The job takes around 1-1.5 hours & needs to be done no later than 1045am, so a start time of 9am is preferred. If hired, the first 3-6 shifts will be $20/day as I will be there to train/supervise. As you start doing the job on your own & I don't have to come check up on you, it will go up to $30/day if the job is getting done properly.
