Landscape Maintenance Team Member- Green Artisans LLC is an established landscape maintenance company that provides full service organic garden care to residential properties in the Portland metro area and Lake Oswego. The business is headquartered in SE Portland. We focus on creating beauty, promoting plant health and fulfilling our customers individual needs. **We are not a mow and blow operation.** We are seeking a landscape maintenance team member with the following skills and abilities and, we will train the right candidate!!!!! Se habla un poco Espanol! -Operate a mower, backpack blower, edger and power hedger. -Identify weeds from desirable plants. -Lift up to 60 pounds on a frequent basis. -Navigate stairs, ladders and uneven terrain. -Work productively in all weather conditions. -Communicate and cooperate well with other team members. -Take direction from crew leaders and supervisors. -Possess an eye for detail and a positive attitude, we enjoy our work and want you to as well! The following skills are not mandatory but are preferable: -Plant identification. -Pest identification. -Proper pruning of perennials and shrubs. -Possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive a medium sized pickup truck. The position has the potential to grow into a supervisor role. Due to the amount of time it takes to train, we would hope that you would be available for at least a year commitment.
