Farm/Property/Warehouse groundskeeping and maintenance We are hiring a groundskeeper for a 20 acre farm with a warehouse. This job is available now. This position will include the following work: Landscaping (small part of property)– Mow, edge, pull weeds, spread barkdust, some planting (being able to pick out plants could be helpful here). Property Groundskeeping (large area)– Spray blackberry vines (new ones, not land clearing), trim low limbs along field perimeter, pick up debris and limbs and place in burn pile. Pressure wash a fence annually. Small Warehouse maint/cleaning – Clean and upkeep a small working warehouse space. This includes some custodial/janitorial work, cleaning gutters, sweeping walkways, gravel driveway maintenance, and some periodic painting or staining. Other optional duties – Simple maintenance of farm equipment (oil changes, paint, blade sharpening, etc), and framing/carpentry or construction assistance. *There is equipment on site that is appropriately sized and equipped in good running order for all of this work. If you have never ran a large mower, tractor, pressure washer, chainsaw, etc- PLEASE don’t apply for this position, that would not be safe!* Compensation: $15-20 per hour with paid 401k (we pay into it for you, 100% vested), paid medical insurance at 75% for employee on base plan, paid time off, and paid holidays. This job is available full time with these benefits or part time with no benefits. This is a W2 position (regular paycheck). Schedule: M-F from 7:30am to 4:00 PM or can be different if requested.
