Construction Laborer/Carpenter Position

Small local construction company in Albany seeking a full-time employee for general construction labor. Work would primarily be concrete and light framing on residential and light industrial projects. We have an opening for a skilled tradesperson as well as an entry-level laborer, so whether you’re looking to continue your career with a new company or are just wanting to try out the construction field, we have a position for you. Pay depends on experience, but is generally $15+ even with no experience. Given the physical nature of the position, applicants should be able to work on their feet and carry moderate loads for a full day. Applicants should be comfortable with or willing to learn the use of various power tools, including nail guns and carpentry saws. Experience with framing or concrete placement is a plus, but not required. Anyone with a strong work ethic and good attitude can be successful in this position, but any building knowledge is appreciated. Reliable transportation is necessary with job sites in various locations, typically no more than 30 minutes from Albany. We pay road time and provide transportation to the job site if not located reasonably close to our shop location.
