Parakeets are awesome pets. We are going to be renovating and want to rehome our aviary parakeets and English Budgies and mixes. You need to provide your own cage. You can get sime great deals on amazon. If they are just "look at pets" you will need 2 as they NEED to socialize. If u intend on making them a pet and teaching him to talk then one is good enough as long as he has lots of toys. Your free healthy parakeet will come with care instructions for diet and care.
