I have a ten month old neutered male border collie mix looking for a new family to love. He is housebroken and NEVER has accidents! He is crate trained, although he doesn’t love it. He loves riding in the truck and going to work with me. He is EXTREMELY active. I don’t mean he likes to walk around the block. He is an athlete. He loves to run for miles and miles and miles, then come home and chase the ball for hours. He would excel in dog sports! He likes other dogs, although he has been my only dog since I got him and he has shown some mild resource guarding behaviors towards other dogs. He loves to play with them, but he doesn’t love sharing his special toys! He LOVES everyone. He has never met a stranger. If anything he is overly friendly! He is very good about only chewing on his own toys, even though my toddler leaves toys all over the place! He really is a good dog, but I have been unable to bond with him for whatever reason. I have had him since he was 7 weeks old. My heart dog passed away last summer and I didn’t wait long enough before getting the new pup, which has definitely contributed to my inability to properly bond with him! I really want this good boy to go to a great home that will love him for his sweet, silly, hyper self! He is up to date on all shots and worming. Free to good home but SERIOUS inquiries only.
